Thomas McDonald - Managing Director & Lead producer

Thomas is a London-based award winning producer, former BFI Network x Bafta crew member, & current Bafta Connect member. He started his career by founding a film festival at University, which led to him producing the BFI NETWORK/Film London-funded ‘Vibration’, which screened at numerous festivals including London Short Film Festival, and was in the final 12 longlist for Best British Short Film at BIFA.

Since founding Tedium Entertainment, he has produced several shorts that have screened at Bafta, Bifa, & Academy qualifying festivals around the world. He has been given career guidance in the past by ‘Beast’ & ‘How to Have Sex’ producer Ivana Mackinon, and was mentored through Bafta by ‘Saint Maud’ & ‘Love Lies Bleeding’ producer Oliver Kassman. He recently became a mentor as part of BFI Film Academy X Bafta to help in the development of up-and-coming producers. Eden buckley - head of Operations & development

Eden Buckley joined Tedium in 2024 to support the expansion of the company as they continue to develop forward with their feature film slates. Eden and Thomas have been friends for many years, collaborating on creative and film projects since their University days. Eden trained as a 3D animator, before moving into the events industry, managing a start up from the ground up working with companies such as Sky and Adidas.

Eden has consulted with Thomas and Tedium for the past three years on a part time basis, helping to construct their operational structure. Eden has now joined to continue this work and expansion, for Tedium’s longer term goals of a studio, and fulltime staff. Eden is currently leading the early development of Tedium’s 2026-2028 slate
